Easter 2011

Hell0 Kitty Easter basket

4 Generations: Nana, Jaybee, Sarah, Amelia, and Nene
Den Den, Amelia, and Nana

Well, today was an awesome Easter Sunday despite all the rain. It hasn't let up all day long! We started off our day at Church this morning and heard an awesome message about Why we need God in our lives. It was quite overwhelming many times this morning during the service to think that Jesus literally died for our sins and then rose again! He has risen he has risen indeed- I love that saying on Easter Sunday.

Amelia wore her new Easter Dress ensemble from Baby Gap! She looked so cute and like such a big girl. She announced to us she looked like Princess Aurora and then Belle and then Cinderella.

After Church, we went to Nana and Den Den's for a yummy Easter Lunch. Amelia had her own Easter egg hunt indoors that she did several times. Luckily, she doesn't realize that anything has to go in the plastic eggs yet so that made things easier on us!

We had a great day and here are a few pictures to share.

More Birthday Pictures

Party favors and cupcakes
The party guests: Anna Claire, Sam, Landon, Amelia, Alexis, Keaton, Grayson
Not pictured: Stella, Jack, and Micah (it was impossible to get them all to sit still)
Grayson, Amelia, and Keaton on the rocking horses
Celebrating Nene's 90th Birthday!
Now she likes cupcakes!! Quite a change from her 1st Birthday!

Here are some other birthday pictures that my dad and brother took from the party. I disappointed that I never got a really good picture of her but I guess it is hard to get any 2 year old especially Amelia to stand still for long enough! There are also a few pictures of Amelia celebrating her great-grandmother Nene's 90th Birthday! Enjoy!

Amelia's 2nd Birthday

The Birthday Girl

Amelia and Stella- "posing for the picture"

We celebrated Amelia's 2nd Birthday party on March 5th, 2011 at Boingo Bounce. It was a ton of fun and she was a total star all day. She woke up that morning saying "Bounce, bounce'. She loved getting dressed up in her birthday outfit and her "party shoes" as she calls them. She had such a fun time and even did a great job at blowing her birthday candles out and singing happy birthday to herself =).

We had a lot of family in town and a lot of her friends at her party. She did a great job sharing and playing party hostess. We even had a family party later that night to break the day up and she went strong all day and night WITHOUT a nap!!!

She had trouble at first learning to say she was 2 instead of 1 but now she can tell you she is 2 when you ask. She is talking ALL the time and is a lot of fun. These pictures are for you Erin!!
